- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Every thought we think is creating our future.
- Louise L. Hay

If you will relax and find a way to allow it,
it will be your experience.
- Abraham (Esther Hicks)
The power of your intention, your intent, your word, is immense. We might ascribe this effect to the power of prayer, to natural forces, or to our will to create our desired outcome. In any case, use this power. Believe in what you do, as well as doing it.

and a beginner's mind to life
maximizes both success and joy.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Innocence isn't ever lost completely;
we just need to maintain our goodness to regain it.
- Jewel
Never say there is nothing beautiful in the world anymore.
There is always something to make you wonder
in the shape of a tree, the trembling of a leaf.

love without fear, and don't even think about the opinions of others.
- don Miguel Ruiz
Mystery creates wonder, and wonder is the basis
of man's desire to understand.
- Neil Armstrong
A newborn does not have worry, or stress, or anger, because they have not yet learned those things. Consider what life would be like if you could forget all the past resentments and perceived offenses that color your thinking and your emotions. Finding Peace in Forgiveness
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
...
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned.
- attributed to St. Francis of Assisi
A wise man will make haste to forgive,
because he knows the true value of time,
and will not suffer it to pass away in unnecessary pain.

Today, I say yes to forgiving.
I commit to being for-giving love and for-giving compassion in all areas of my life.
– Sheri Rosenthal

that comes from releasing resentment and anger.

The essence of compassion is accepting others as unique individuals,
without believing that they are less good for not being carbon copies of ourselves.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
When we have expectations (demands), we think we know how people SHOULD behave, and we can have no compassion. Only after we accept that another person's uniquely "right" path does not follow our own preconceptions, we can be compassionate.

but why should they be a bar to the meeting of hearts?
- Mohandas (Mahatma) Gandhi
One of the surest ways to cause yourself great suffering is to insist upon being right - to demand that all others view life exactly as you view it.
Why should it impede your happiness for others to have differing views on politics or religion? for others to paint their houses purple or grow asparagus in place of a grassy lawn? for others to dress, mingle, celebrate, or dine in their own manner?
The path to happiness is to live your life joyfully in your own way, and to support and encourage others to do likewise.

Mutually Beneficial
Your mother really did know the secret to a better world:
"Play nicely together. Don't fight."
Most of us think about succeeding in terms of someone else failing --
that is, if I win, you lose; or if you win, I lose.
Life becomes a zero-sum game.
... [In contrast,] Win-win sees life as a cooperative arena, not a competitive one.
Win-win is a frame of mind and heart that constantly seeks
mutual benefit in all human interactions.
Win-win means agreements or solutions are mutually beneficial and satisfying.
- Stephen R. Covey
When we seek to discover the best in others,
we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.
- William Arthur Ward
The more generous we are, the more joyous we become.
The more cooperative we are, the more valuable we become.
The more enthusiastic we are, the more productive we become.
The more serving we are, the more prosperous we become.
- William Arthur Ward
The only thing that will redeem mankind is cooperation.

Creatures of Emotion
When dealing with people, remember you are
not dealing with creatures of logic,
but creatures of emotion.
- Dale Carnegie
Love is what we were born with.
Fear is what we learned here.
Miracles occur naturally as expressions of love.
The real miracle is the love that inspires them.
In this sense everything that comes from love is a miracle.
- Marianne Williamson
There are no guarantees.
From the viewpoint of fear, none are strong enough.
From the viewpoint of love, none are necessary.
- Emmanuel (Pat Rodegast)
At the most basic level, the human emotions that drive all our actions
are the emotion of Love, and the emotion of Fear.
Love expresses itself through compassion, kindness, generosity, and understanding.
Fear expresses itself through self-centeredness, greed, jealousy, and exclusion.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Have compassion for those whose actions are driven by fear,
