The great gift of Easter is hope -
Christian hope which makes us have that confidence in God,
in his ultimate triumph, and in his goodness and love,
which nothing can shake.

to act justly, to love tenderly,
and to walk humbly with your God.

For me, the most powerful expressions of true Christianity in this material world are an unconditional love of all humans and an uncompromising commitment to caring for all who are sick, infirm, or troubled - as expressed in the biblical story of the Good Samaritan.

we must be content to creep along the ground,
and never soar.

The freedom we are looking for is the freedom to be ourselves, to express ourselves.

As Hard As You Think It Is
Life is as easy or as hard as you think it is.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
What if we just acted like everything was easy?
- Mary Anne Radmacher
When I hear somebody sigh, "Life is hard,"
I am always tempted to ask, Compared to what?
- Sydney Harris
Adversity can crush our spirit - or strengthen it - it is our choice.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
Whenever you say or even think, "This is hard," that task or challenge becomes difficult. Dread it, and it becomes terrifying.
When you choose to move past fear - fear of failure, fear of embarrassment, fear of "looking bad," fear of losing respect - life becomes much lighter, and most any task becomes possible - perhaps even enjoyable. Most any challenge can become an adventure of discovery.

Forgive All From Your Heart
A wise one said, "We are most like God when we forgive."
It is easy for us to blame, but hard for us to forgive.
Yet that is what we are called upon to do -
to forgive everyone for everything.
And the reward?
In this life, the reward for forgiveness
is your own happiness.
Unconditional universal forgiveness is
the key to your own happiness.
- Jonathan Lockwood Huie
The key to forgiveness is to forgive from the heart -
not from the mind.
- Sheri Rosenthal
Without forgiveness, we remain tethered to the person who harmed us.
We are bound with chains of bitterness, tied together, trapped.
Until we can forgive the person who harmed us,
that person will hold the keys to our happiness; that person will be our jailor.
When we forgive, we take back control of our own fate and our feelings.
We become our own liberators.
Forgiveness, in other words, is the best form of self-interest.
This is true both spiritually and scientifically.
We don’t forgive to help the other person.
We don’t forgive for others.
We forgive for ourselves.

It is good to have an end to journey towards;
but it is the journey that matters in the end.

- Robert M. Pirsig
The journey between what you once were

- Barbara De Angelis
Happiness isn't at the end of the rainbow.
Happiness is at the beginning of the rainbow.
Following the rainbow is happiness,

Life is a Journey - Enjoy the Journey.
Life is not a race to test
