ReplyDeleteIf we are to stop fighting, we should stop the fighting that's done in the streets and stop this war that's done by Law Enforcements, that has authority to kill and protect.
ReplyDeleteMy Mother, Mrs. Charlena Marie surely, goodness and with mercy certainly with consistency, often said to me, " ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE< you see, He's Judge,The Jury also The Executioner, as we talked, I learned, ONLY GOD decide if we will go to heaven or hell? I remember times of judging folks, now that I study my scriptures. I begin say something that I've done myself and open my mouth to say something, listen, The Lord shut me down before I begin to speak and I thank him, he has brought me a very, very long way and he's not finish with me just yet.
ReplyDeleteIt is always more helpful to consider what actions *I* can take than to demand that others take action.
ReplyDeleteApproaching one's own life with a heart filled with peace is a sound beginning.
Having a heartfelt conversation with a police officer you know personally might help.
Quietly and respectfully carrying a sign that just says "PEACE" in front of your local police station might help.
Telling *Others* what they *should* do differently is unlikely to make the world a better place.
