Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Why live? Adding one to my count of days, or postponing a feared death by another day do not inspire me. I live to experience something new each day - to learn something new, meet a new friend, bring joy into someone's life, feel the wind newly on my skin, touch a new fear, a new anger, and with focused intent and good fortune, find an ample measure of my own joy.
– Helen Keller
-----------------
Helen Keller (1880-1968) overcame being both deaf and blind to become a famous author, lecturer, and activist for women's suffrage, workers' rights, and ending war. The story of how she broke through the isolation imposed by a near complete lack of language has become known worldwide through the play and film The Miracle Worker.
Hellen Keller is a true personification of courage, will power, determination and tenacity of purpose. What an awsome inspiration.
