I just reached inside to find one item in the freezer in the home of my friend. I'd taken a break from trying to determine which of the top five projects due about the same time I would start on next. A little reach and before I knew it every single frozen item in the entire freezer box was strewn over all the kitchen counters and the dining table. One child walked through with a puzzled, "What the???" I flippantly laughed saying, "I had nothing to do so I thought I'd organized the freezer." Ah. The truth was precisely opposite. I had so much to do so I opted to organize the freezer.
Cleaning and prioritizing what was visible created a model, a path for me to follow to go back and prioritize the less visible. Fortunately I was able to stop at the freezer! Inspired with a small, unexpected successful task I returned to the larger, more daunting task(s) and began to create order on their "shelves."
