Life is not so easy as you reach old age with its abiding aches and pains and you have to accept that you can't do what you could do before. It's especially hard when you lose your loved ones - one after the other, but there's still beauty around us, there's still music and inspirational poetry, and there are always people who are worse off than oneself. I remember especially the young soldiers who have lost limbs, and the starving children who need our help. Life is always precious no matter what befalls us.
