Gleaning

When you reap the harvest of your land,
you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field when you reap,
nor shall you gather any gleaning from your harvest.
You shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger.
- Leviticus 23:22

[My paraphrase: Do not be greedy. gather only what you need.
Leave what you do not need for others to harvest.]

[Definition of "gleaning": collecting leftover crops from a farmer's field after the main harvest.]
